Have you ever heard of the thought of mis en place? It’s actually a pretty neat concept. In fact, what this is, is a French phrase that is used in the culinary field that means everything has its place. Isn’t that the truth in life? So now, how if you apply this to different things in life including productivity?

Anything that starts screaming for my attention gets silenced, thrown out or put away. But the mis en place is key for productivity—kilsl the distractions, add some order and you’ll find you find your flow much faster.

The greater idea about this phrase which can easily turn into a movement is that if everything is out and ready to be used, then it will be used. However if it is not ready, then they can’t do what they need to do. This causes absolutely nothing to get in the way of the things that they need to get done which can increase productivity.
