Ruby Caine comes from a writer family but she had dyslexia and attention deficiency. In high school her parents were divorced and her sister got her into reading romance novels as a way to escape reality. The first book took her weeks to finish but things got easier as time went by. By the time she graduated she had a 3.0 GPA.

Recently, Caine decided to give writing another chance. She studied the market and discovered a new market demand for stories about Alpha males and sassy heroines. “My books are far from the Fifty Shades of Gray which pulled in so many fans in the last few years, but I did have to spice up some of my original ideas to fit into that genre,” Caine said.
