Many were not aware that the award winning author and movie producer Steven Spielberg suffered with dyslexia and he has been speaking more about it now when asked about it in interviews. Steven brought Roald Dahl to BFG and everyone was thrilled. It is suspected that Roald Dahl also suffered with dyslexia as a child from what one of his grammar school teachers noted.

“Spielberg has ‘come out’ about his dyslexia (see below) and he seems to be discussing it more and more when the topic comes up in interviews”.

The BFG was Steven Spielberg’s first Disney film and he was very excited to do it. He looked up to Walt Disney and enjoyed watching his films as a child. Some of his favorites include Dumbo, Snow White, and Cinderella. Steven also found it quite easy to relate to the story for it has a lot of the way he grew up in it as well. So it you haven’t checked out this awesome movie by and awesome producer make sure you check it out soon.
“Loneliness is a place that is familiar to me,” admits the 69-year-old Spielberg, immediately recognizable in blazer and beard. “I was that way when I was younger before having children, before getting married. But I remember like it was yesterday what it felt like to really feel isolated and alone. And I felt that way about the BFG and it was very easy to tell his story because I came from the same place he came from.”
