I always look forward to the first day of the new school year. As a teacher, I am always eager to begin the year and meet all of my new students.

 

Usually, I would have a few timid students hiding behind their parents not wanting to engage their peers or explore their new classroom.

 

Sometimes I have that one or two with social or separation anxiety....

You can use YouTube to learn English, but there are a number of different ways you can go about it. First, it is helpful to subscribe to videos and channels you like. Additionally, Liking videos and giving thumbs up encourages content creators. Subtitles are also helpful, because they add another layer of learning on videos. Subtitles can be very helpful in this way.

This article explains what helps children learn English and the different ways that it is easiest for them to learn. Unlike adults children under the age of eleven can learn faster and communicate sooner and making better methods of education using tools they can understand.

Many people judge bad spelling as a sign of a lack of intelligence. Or a lack of education. Neither is necessarily true.

 

To me bad spelling is evidence that we all use our brains differently. That different brain centers contribute to different functions. That we connect those functions in different ways.

Oregon based nonprofit SMART (Start Making a Reader Today) is expanding their program to pair community volunteers for one on one reading support with Pre-kindergarten through 3rd grade students. Productivity is a large reflection of the way that we treat ourselves and not necessarily the way that others treat us. There is a way for ditching the put-downs that those that have attention deficit for positive conversation in an attempt to build confidence and it may also help accomplish more tasks on a daily basis.

Just think about all the mirrored letters like “b,” “d,” “p,” and “q.” Then there are the flips like “m” and “w” or the rotations “d” and “p.” Not to mention, letter run-ons such as “rn,” which looks a lot like “m.” That so many letters are so similar in appearance is a never-ending nightmare to many with dyslexia.
