Asperger’s Characteristics (Infograph)

Asperger’s Syndrome is a developmental disorder that is linked with autism, but is different from autism in a few different ways. One way is that cognition with Asperger's Syndrome is usually below average, while with autism cognition is average or even above average. Those who suffer from Asperger's are less social and have trouble empathizing and working with others. They also don't like change and like to have routines. Certain language anomalies associated with Asperger's include rushed, monotone speech, and not being able to communicate their needs with others.
