CYBERBULLYING: How Bullies Have Moved From The Playground to the Web (Infograph)

Just under half of teenagers with tech access have been cyberbullied. As more and more kids have access to technology the number of kids who are cyberbullied will keep growing. On an average, a teen sends a text about every twelve minutes, and eighty percent are on multiple social media sites. Kids younger and younger are getting access to the internet. One in ten kids on Facebook has been cyberbullied. Over three-fourths of kids asked said it is a lot easier to cyber bully. Kids who are bullied are twice as likely to commit suicide as children who aren't bullied. The third highest killer of kids is suicide. Only ten percent of kids who witness cyberbullying did anything about it. The only to prevent cyberbullying is by speaking up.
