The number of children who are never diagnosed and struggle with a learning difficulty their entire life is staggering. So many of the myths about learning difficulties like ADHD revolve around gender and age-based descriptions. Boys will always be “just boys,” and girls can have ADHD as well. People do not always grow out of things like ADHD and adults who are never diagnosed can get into even worse anxiety or depression.
