History of Classroom Technology (Infograph)

Over the years kids have been learning from their teachers in schools, but the tool being used is in constant flux. Now, this infographic shows what tool has been used to both teach and learn, and how those have changed through time. In the old days' pre-printed wooden paddles would be used to teach the alphabet and reading, now teachers have turned to iPads which can be changed every second to accommodate learning speeds. The overhead projector was a popular group teaching instrument in the early 1900’s, this has given way to the whiteboard. There is also change in what is required from the student where the #2 pencils were once used with scantrons, no computers take their place and no writing instrument is needed to take a standardized test. This infographic shows all the ways these instruments have changed the way teachers teach and students learn.
