Staying true to yourself and not caring too much about others’ opinions about you is the best possible way to live your life to the fullest. When you value others’ opinions of how you should live your life than your own, you’re probably doing life wrong, and this can affect your children as well. There is a recent study that said that children as young as two start caring about their reputations. Researchers discovered that children exhibit more controlled behavior when they knew they were being observed. As parents, we want our children to give importance to what others think and feel about them so that they would learn how to develop relationships. But let us not forget, that we must also encourage them to be who they truly are and take every opinion that would help them grow into great human beings.
