ADHD vs Autism

ADHD and autism are recognized as differences in children, but very few understand what they are or what they entail. The general public understands that people with both differences have difficulty functioning in a social group. However, the main contrast is that those with ADHD have impaired executive functioning skills while those with autism have impaired communication skills. Those with ADHD often have difficulties holding back more impulsive behaviors while those with autism don't understand body language avoid eye contact and don't usually take turns when speaking.
ADHD is a very common difference that affects anywhere from seven to 12 percent of society, whereas is only found in 5 out of 1,000 children. There is one main similarity between the two. Both ADHD and Autism can be treated with medication, behavioral therapy, or school and home interventions.
