A child's brain is an incredibly complex structure with many parts that work together to shape the way the child thinks and learns. The frontal lobe controls abstract thinking, organization, and reasoning. The parietal lobe controls sensory information. The cerebellum controls balance, attention, and rhythm. The occipital lobe is the control center for visual systems and information.

With all of these structures working together, it is imperative that all of the parts work together in harmony. If any one part of the brain is weaker than the others it can affect the ability of the child to learn and to keep up with their peers. Proper brain development is the key to a child's future.
