Triggers for Kids with Autism and SPD

Children with autism and SPD have many different triggers that can create an atmosphere in which they can't cope. Children with these differences should never be in a place that is too high or on a platform that moves too fast. Likewise, anything that is too overwhelming to their senses should also be avoided.
Anything unfamiliar or too new will confuse a child with these differences and create a frightening environment for them. The vernacular should also be very calm and expected and not include too many loud noises or too much light. Great care should be taken to make sure the child understands their surroundings. Another trigger could be if their clothes or anything they are wearing is too loose or too tight.
