Being able to tell an effective story requires multiple facets that work together to grab and hold the listener’s attention. Without these, you may find yourself unable to captivate an audience. Many of these recommendations may seem like common sense, but others may be something you’ve never thought of before. The first thing you must do is to determine your audience. If you are reaching the wrong audience all of your hard work will be in vain. Next, you must have a strong title. You only get one first impression. Finally, allow readers to think for themselves. These are just a few helpful tips to becoming an effective storyteller. Try one or all of these to improve your storytelling. You never know, you may just end up with a larger and more engaged audience.
