Every child has the right to play and that includes children with learning, developmental, psychiatric, physical, and neurological disabilities. Parks and playgrounds should be designed to be inclusive that welcomes children of all abilities to experience the important, enriching benefits of play. Inclusive and accessible playgrounds can also help the community as a whole, cultivating more empathy, diversity, and joy.
