One adult with ADHD has an interesting story to tell. It was definitely disappointing to get ADHD as an adult. But the person says it was hard to actually convince people of the fact. Adult ADHD may be somewhat rare, but the phenomenon is real for many people. Adults with ADHD face a lot of challenges in their everyday lives. ADHD labels might seem like something from school. But adults could face similar challenges too.

One lady had frustrated teachers who thought she did not try hard enough in school, even though it was her dyslexia that was the issue.
