Local Company Helping Students with Math and Providing School Supplies for Teachers #dyscalculia

Did you know that math is the universal language? Chances are you might have heard the expression somewhere, but it is true especially for one young man by the name of Alejandro Magallanes. He was born and raised in Mexico. However, when he came to the United States he didn’t know English.

“We bought 20,000 pencils, we bought over 2,000 composition books, gift cards to Amazon, gift cards to other websites that teachers use, and we donate it to teachers for free.”
~ Alejandro Magallanes

Math is the universal language and this proves it.

Since he did not know the English language it made it difficult to bond with any of his peers until it came to math. So he used that tool to overcome his language barrier and now he is helping others. While he was attending University he created the App Easy Math.

Key Takeaways:

1
To overcome a language barrier can be difficult but math is the same in every language.
