My daughter came home after her “big” math test recently. She was in tears over earning a "C." Like any parent who labors with their child for hours every night knows, a "C" can be disappointing. In dramatic fashion, my daughter told me she hates math and no longer wants to try her best. Does this scene come close to anything in your house when math is involved?
