Math across the country is moving always from strict algorithm-based instruction to more conceptual thinking. In Souix Falls, a lot of parents are struggling and have questions about this process.
As Patrick Anderson explains, âThey get the algorithm eventually, but â as is the case for multiplication â they don't learn it until years later.â
