Preschool science and math program allows children, parents to learn together #dyscalculia

Monroe County Public Library is in the midst of a very successful program that encourages children to explore via hands on learning. The program focuses on activities that have long fascinated tiny tykes, such as hand puppets on the wall, playing with flashlights, and engaging in various finger painting activities as well.

The activity involved children making their own shadow puppets and playing with them on the wall as part of a weekly preschool science and math program Tuesday at the Monroe County Public Library.

Monroe County Public Library offers activity for the youngest learners.

Organizers hope that people will come to the workshop and be instantly swept up in the bevy of offered activities. They may even start looking at math and science as two very fun subjects. Organizers also hope that the parents attending the events mingle and get to know one another, creating a second layer of support for our young ones.
