In July 2014, Jenna Hoffstein was awarded the prestigious Pax 10--an award for the best indie games. It's pretty cool that she's a woman and getting this award, but there's something even more remarkable about the game that earned the reward: it's a math game. Educational games aren't generally known for being award winning games (a.k.a. Kids will tell you they're usually totally lame!). This game is different though, and I bet your six- to eight-year-olds (or older kids depending on their skillset) won't be calling this game lame.
