Raytheon helps students get ‘math strong’ #dyscalculia

It was Match Night at Sunny School High. Raytheon which is a leader in the missile defense industry hosted this event in the Tuscon Arizona. They are hoping that this event will support children’s interest in STEM, Science, Technology, Mathematics, and Engineering. This is a decade long of support to the community.

STEM programs are popping up everywhere.

Students were interviewed by reporters in their interviews it was shown that they really appreciate the different ways engineers from Raytheon were able to explain math to them. This program really allows students to get a fresh approach to mathematics other than what they would normally see from their teachers on a day to day basis. Raytheon hopes that students will become more involved in the STEM area with the support that they show to local schools in the area.
