Utah students could face additional math requirements to be college-ready #dyscalculia

In Utah on friday a bill named SB 196 was unamiously passed requiring all high school students who plan to attend college to pass a math placement test. However students can bypass this placement test by recevieing a C grade or higher in a concurrent college math course while still in high school. Even allowing high school students to complete their general math college classes while still in high school. The bill also requires students who do not plan to attend college to pass a career placement test in order to prepare them for their chosen field after high school
