In an increasingly technological generation, students in engineering and mathematics fields become more and more vital. With the greater demand for STEM careers the Obama administration looks to encourage STEM education. Other nations, such as Italy have had similar policies that were somewhat unsuccessful due to the sheer number of students entering engineering schools with minimal previous education.
