Good Fonts for Dyslexia – An Experimental Study

A study in Spain tested which fonts worked best for dyslexic people. The age group was eleven through 50 years of age and was comprised of forty-eight individuals. There were twelve different fonts used in this study, and the italic versions of some of the fonts. Fixation duration was used, as well as reading time to determine what worked best. The test subjects were also asked for their own opinion. There is some doubt on how accurate the test is, for the test subjects could do better with what they used most often.
