This article discusses the special case of a boy named Saul Ronsayro who was diagnosed with Dysgraphia. This disease prevents Saul from being able to write down his thoughts, though not limiting any of his other functions. Such a disease is quite rare, some 2% of children with learning disabilities experience it. Due to its rarity, necessary accommodations are hard to come by so Saul’s parents struggled to get him the help he needs. With the help of Mike Rolen, Assistant superintendent for Special Education, they were able to come up with a plan to effectively help Saul’s condition.
