Dyslexia is a learning disability wherein a person has difficulty reading and writing. Thomas West has been affected with dyslexia, and did not learn to read until he was 10 years old. He has focused on talking about dyslexia after he and his sons were diagnosed with dyslexia. He advises that parents of children with dyslexia consult with the Dyslexia Association of Singapore for resources.
