This article is about black students with dyslexia. They are often not diagnosed early enough to prevent other learning disabilities from happening due to their frustration with the dyslexia. There is a financial cause for this, since actually testing for dyslexia can cost up to $6000. There is no cure, but if diagnosed early and special learning techniques are given, it can be overcome.
