Gifted Students And LD Students Need More Understanding

It is interesting to note that many people make the false assumption that kids who are gifted are the exact opposite of kids that have learning disabilities. In fact, this is not true at all. There are many kids all over the world who have learning disabilities and are also gifted, so the two are not mutually exclusive. There are some states that will identify a child as one or the other but never both at the same time.
