Being a dyslexic teacher can be tough. There are a lot of hard things you need to learn and it is not for everyone. People do not understand a lot of times the issues a kid has with learning to read and it is important to know what you are doing. One teacher learned to embrace it and have fun teaching it to her students. She once had a long struggle with teaching dyslexic kids.

Love And Hate For Dyslexia

In fact, I often point out to students who see dyslexia as a reason to give up, that it means that unlike some others, we know our weakness, and we can work around this.
