The past few decades have helped scientists learn and understand much more about dyslexia than they had before. Public schools around the world are still doing a great disservice to kids in schools. Low-income students are ones that are not doing great. Dyslexia runs in families and kids experience the same letters and numbers, but they interpret them in many different ways. The schools have a long way to go when it comes to helping kids.
