Coping With Dyslexia

This video features a personal story from YouTuber Maya Eshbach, who shares how dyslexia affected her learning experience, and how she lives with it. Maya discusses how dyslexia is a learning difficulty specifically in reading and writing, but it does not affect the intelligence of an individual. In fact, you can be very smart and still have dyslexia. Maya's dyslexia is hereditary in nature, as her mother also has it. 

She learned to cope up with it by practicing more, and most importantly, being diagnosed so she can understand her situation. She goes a bit deeper into how she discovered her dyslexia, and gives advice on what to do if you suspect you are dyslexic. She concludes by letting anyone suspecting they have dyslexia know that living with it is possible, and there are ways to cope and compensate.
