Nowra Library receives dyslexia collection #dyslexia

If you know someone who suffers from dyslexia but loves reading, they are now in luck. The Nowra Library now has a new collection of books for those who are dyslexic. This new collection is designed to make reading easier for those with the impairment. The letters are designed in a way so that each letter has focused on the letter, making reading easier.

People with dyslexia often swap, rotate and flip letters without noticing, as some letters are too similar to each other for them to tell apart.

A book collection is now specifically for dyslexia.

With this new change to the font, those with dyslexia no longer have to feel that reading is out of the scope of possibility. The changes have been a success thus far. Those who have visited the new library have reported success in this new line of books. With more space between each letter, those with dyslexia can navigate the text with more ease.
