Three Pennsylvania school districts are offering screening programs for dyslexia in hopes of intervening early in students’ academic life and altering otherwise struggling students life in hopes of a more positive outcome. One of the founders of this coalition had a struggling son and her inspiration for founding it was the lack of tools available for teachers and students to use.
