Reading is one important activity where both the reader and the listeners can enjoy. Both can also learn from reading. It is great that there are reading programs like Reach Out and Read. It is a program that promotes bonding, early-childhood development and nurturing. It is also through this program that books are distributed to children via pediatricians. 

For eight years, Smart Start Rowan has offered Reach Out and Read — a program that distributes books to children via pediatricians during each well-child visit starting at 4 to 6 months.
