Sleep is a very important part of life. Sleeping is most important for children. By getting enough sleep, one can function much better during the day. Getting a good sleep can increase memory functions, alertness, and focus. However, not getting enough sleep can create bad consequences. Mental and physical health, focus, and attention decrease with lack of sleep.

That all kids like to read they just need to find the right books.

Children who get plenty of sleep do not have as many behavioral issues compared to those who do not sleep well. When you get enough sleep you can control your emotions better, have a more creative mind, and enhance cognitive abilities and executive function. Those who have mental illnesses have more endurance and better behavior with enough sleep. Younger children tend to need more sleep than older kids.
The negative effects of lack of sleep on cognitive skills and behavior is well documented. Lack of sleep reduces blood flow to the brain resulting in loss of attention, focus, physical and mental health.
