Strong Responses

It turns out that kids that have dyslexia are showing stronger emotional responses than other kids their age. This came as a surprise to researchers who were studying the phenomenon. There was a lot of research done with kids that ranged from eight years to twelve. A dyslexia diagnosis does not mean the child will be successful in relationships as they could have more anxiety than other kids their age have.

Kids Responses

Children diagnosed with dyslexia show greater emotional reactivity than children without dyslexia, according to a new collaborative study by UC San Francisco neuroscientists with the UCSF Dyslexia Center and UCSF Memory and Aging Center.
