Recently there has been some insight given into the aspect of the gift of learning with Beth Shier. In particular this includes lesson plans, business tips, as well as resources for tutors in general. In more detail to the aspects of this Beth Shier actually became involved with Davis because of her daughter in particular. When her daughter was eight years old she noticed she was having difficulty reading.

Beth Shier covers many misconceptions about dyslexia, and breaks down facts about how people with dyslexia think and operate.

When her daughter in particular was in the third grade she had hit a wall when it came to learning and behavioral problems and in particular was labeled as lazy and not motivated. Beth was not satisfied with that and began to try different things including some private tutors and programs such as hooked on phonics to try and get down to the bottom of this issue and fix it.
So for a little background about 5 years ago I had a student with terrible handwriting and I didn’t know how to help him. So I started doing a lot of research and this book called The Gift of Learning kept popping up in my search.
