Ending Segregation

Wealthy schools tend to find more gifted students than the poorer schools and this is an issue. Gifted education in the United States has a racial issue. Close to 60 percent of the kids in public schools that are in the gifted programs are one racial group. The goal is to have multiple racial groups to be part of the gifted programs as well. Gifted education has racism at its core and that is a huge issue.
