Failing Special Education

Schools in the state of Texas are failing kids that have special needs. Kids with dyslexia are especially being given the shaft by the leaders in charge. There was an investigation done in the year 2018 that showed this. The state has been denying aid to the students who need it the most and this has disappointed many people who have kids in the programs as well as educators. This was a violation of the current federal law.

Special Education Failure

Texas has failed to prove it did enough to overhaul a system that illegally left thousands of public school students who have disabilities without needed special education services, according to a letter federal officials sent the state last month.
