Happiness and Fear

After months of being closed down, schools in the country of Italy are now beginning to reopen. Many of the children and the teachers are happy to see each other again after a long time out. Not all of the schools have reopened though. Schools in a lot of the regions have decided to stay in lockdown. There have been over thirty thousand deaths from the virus in the country of Italy and it devastated many people.

After a six-month shutdown, the longest in Europe, Italy reopened most of its schools on Monday, testing the organizational skills of the government, the nerves of teachers, and the self-control of excited students.
