Thousands of kids in the state of Alabama have not gone to one single day of class and this is an issue all across the nation as distance learning has changed things for education. There is no accountability for kids and that means that they do not show up because no one expects anything of them. There are issues with the parents and kids just feel that school is not something that they need at all.

Truant Kids

A lack of accountability and structure has allowed more than 5,000 students in Alabama public schools to avoid attending even a single day of class since switching to part-time in-person teaching.
