A New Support Group

Teachers in the city of Las Vegas have made some support groups in order to cope with the stressors that distance learning has caused. Teachers can usually discuss their issues over the phone, or over Zoom or in person. Teachers have said that they have a lot of new additional responsibilities because of the distance learning mandate that has been created. There are group sessions being done to address the stress teachers feel and it helps somewhat.

Distance learning is taking a toll on educators’ mental health and now some Clark County School District teachers are creating groups where they can vent their concerns.
