Emma Joly is a high school student in Alabama, who before the shutdown due to the coronavirus was trying to organize a day focused on STEM for a local middle school. Instead, she is now creating STEM lessons on YouTube to continue her work towards getting the Gold Award from the Girl Scouts. Her lessons are focused on chemistry, engineering, and physics, and she uses at-home objects like a coke can to get her points across in her videos.
