Getting A Child An IEP

An IEP is created when a student is struggling in many academic areas. There are signs that a student will need it and a parent will have to seek out the right program for their child. There is a long vetting process that goes on to determine exactly what the student is in need of and they must go through six weeks of progressive training. If a student is not keeping up, then they will need to be given help.
Key Takeaways:
1
A special education plan is given out to students when they have severe learning deficits.
2
An intervention is put in place and data is collected by the teacher.
3
Fifteen minutes can be given to students who need one on one instruction.
