There are things that parents must do in order to get their kids tested for IEP. It can be hard for kids that are in specialized classes to test into the higher class as they get older. An IEP is something that needs to come from a doctor. If a child has autism, then they will need to be tested and a medical professional is a person who needs to test them. There are many facets to the IEP.
