Managing your emotions in front of your children is very important. How we behave can impact our kids in many ways. If our kids bring home a bad report card, then that will, in turn, give you a chance to react in a positive way. If you go off the handle, then that is not good. But, you have an honesty policy and you want your kids to know they did wrong. It's important to stay calm.
Key Takeaways:
1
You can create policies for your kids so they can do better in school.
2
If your kids are doing bad and your emotions are high, then take a timeout.
3
Communicating with your child is a very important thing and never do it when angry.
