What do you think when you see a dog in a school? Do you know that there are dogs that are used as therapy dogs? Can these two situations ever cross paths and be beneficial? The answer is yes for one school in New Jersey known as the Mary Kay McMillian Early Childhood Center.

One early childhood center welcomes a therapy dog into the classroom.

One educator by the name of Anne Corley-Hand had attended a workshop on the benefits of therapy dogs in school and that is where it all began for the school. Soon after, the school pursued a grant to bring a dog into the school. Shortly after the dog by the name of Timber was found in the classrooms behavior and language communication improved among students.
