Practicing Self-Compassion When You Have a Mental Illness

Having a psychological condition can be very stressful and often will affect a person’s daily life. One of the most important things that anyone with any psychological condition must remember is to practice self-compassion. This article discusses how people should fight the negative stigmas that others put on them by making sure that they are being fair to themselves and not overly-critical. In many cases people are always their own worst critics and it is important to remember to take a step back, think, and be kind to oneself.
