Grants given to schools can do amazing things and this is no exception. A grant that was given from the National Science Foundation hosted a Mathematics Teacher Preparation Conference in June which was hosted at the University of Delaware. This conference welcomed math teachers from 16 different universities across the country to help further their skill set.
Conference helps math teachers learn new techniques for effective teaching.
The participants for the conference were there to learn techniques on how to improve their content courses in the classrooms of students from kindergarten through eighth grade. This was also done in part to help effectively teach math to the students in the classroom. To learn more about this conference read more in this article!
